Dee runs Explore BR, a local small business directory built to connect her community with businesses nearby. Still up and coming, all run by her.

She already had a solid list of businesses on the platform. What she didn't fully have yet was people actually using it, and a directory nobody opens doesn't do anything for the businesses on it.

Like we do with every project, we started by asking who her community actually is.

For Explore BR, that's real, local people coming to the directory for everyday things. That meant the content needed to go "average local," accessible and direct, grounded in the fact that the person running it is someone just like them.

We deliberately kept the style away from polished, cinematic production, that's not the right call for every project, but it was the right call here.

We built a Brand Story Video around an event Dee was already hosting for the community, capturing her in her element. People watching don't just see an ad, they meet Dee directly and get a real sense of what the community around Explore BR actually has to offer.

In its first few days , the video reached 656 accounts and pulled 1,100 views on it’s debut.
