The Questions I Get Asked the Most (Answered All in One Place)

If what you're building feels bigger than what people are currently seeing, that's exactly the gap FroMotion exists to close.

I'm Danielle, the founder of FroMotion Media, a content strategy, brand photography, and video studio built around that idea. I work with businesses and brands that already have something real going on, they just need help making sure their content actually communicates it instead of quietly falling short of what the brand truly is.

This felt like a good day to answer the questions that come up the most once people start looking into working together. There are a handful that show up in almost every discovery call, every DM, every "wait, quick question" email. Some of these live on my Services page too, but they're worth pulling together here, especially for anyone who hasn't made it there yet.

Do I need a photographer, a videographer, or a content strategist?

A photographer or videographer captures something, a shoot, an event, a product, focused on the technical execution of a specific piece. A content creator produces ongoing content, but isn't necessarily thinking about whether any of it is working toward something. A content strategist is the thinking behind all of it: what to create, why it matters, how it connects to an actual goal, whether what's already happening is working.

Most people need some mix of all three, and most agencies make you piece that together yourself, one person for photos, another for video, another for strategy, hoping they all talk to each other. FroMotion is built to be the whole thing under one roof, including true pre-production, scripting, and location scouting, planning the shots before anyone picks up a camera.

I shoot the photos, I shoot and edit the video, and I build the strategy connecting it all. On bigger productions, I bring in trusted collaborators to help on set, but they come in already understanding the full plan, so nothing gets lost no matter how many people are involved.

Have you worked with a brand like mine before?

The honest answer is that it doesn't matter whether I've worked within your exact industry before. The system is designed to adapt to any brand because it's rooted in clarity, intention, and understanding your audience, not templates or niche-specific formulas.

My experience spans filmmaking, editing, brand photography, and content strategy across a lot of different environments, corporate teams, creative collectives, local businesses, artists. That range shaped a flexible process that works well even for brands I haven't partnered with yet.

What if I've never worked with a strategist or photographer before?

That's completely okay. The process is designed to be simple, supportive, and collaborative. Every step is explained clearly, and you'll always know what's coming next.

What if I'm not clear on what I need yet?

You don't have to be. Most clients come in with a feeling or a direction, not a full plan. A discovery call helps clarify your goals, your audience, and what stage your brand is moving into. From there, we identify the service that fits and outline a direction that feels manageable.

How much direction do you provide?

A lot, before and after content is created. Every service includes strategy support, including access to strategy workbooks covering pre and post-launch content plans, recommended ways to use your visuals, potential series ideas, and guidance on building a content calendar that actually feels sustainable.

Do you work with teams, or just solo founders?

Both, and the approach supports each differently. A core belief here is that when working with a team, everyone should understand why the content exists and how it supports the brand, not just execute pieces in isolation. That keeps communication from getting lost between the creative side, the marketing side, and leadership.

Do you travel or work remotely?

Yes to both. Many brands choose remote sessions for content, consulting, direction, and ongoing support. The entire process can be completed from anywhere.

How soon can we begin?

As soon as the contract is signed and the deposit is paid. Most full projects take about 3 to 8 weeks from start to finish depending on scope. Strategy sessions can begin immediately.

What if I need both photos and videos?

You can absolutely have both. Most services can be customized to include a blend of photography and video based on your goals and how you plan to use the content.

Is FroMotion just you, or do you have a full team?

FroMotion is led personally by me. I handle all strategy, creative direction, and client communication so the work stays aligned and true to your brand. For projects that need extra support, I bring in trusted team members I work with regularly, which keeps things high quality and personalized without losing that one-person-at-the-helm feel.
